FSTC Blended Learning

Kleinbart FSTC has developed an innovative, “blended” approach to training, which combines the effectiveness of “face-to-face” (F2F) training with the efficiency of E-learning to meet the needs of financial service providers.
FSTC Blended Learning has been developed on the basis of a learning cycle, which is the foundation for acquiring new knowledge and building expertise. The steps in this learning cycle are:

  • Acquisition – Course participants acquire new knowledge through the use of computer-mediated methods, which have been jointly developed by financial service experts and communication specialists. To make these methods both interesting and interactive, the FSTC approach includes video, animation, exercises, a virtual classroom and the possibility of interacting online with financial experts.
  • Reinforcement and Application – To reinforce and apply the knowledge acquired online, Kleinbart FSTC holds F2F workshops, in which the information acquired by students in the first phase is explained and applied to market practice.
  • Implementation – In this phase, financial experts support students in applying the acquired knowledge to their everyday work. Technical support can be provided both online (through a virtual classroom, chat or E-mail) and face to face, in accordance with the needs of the participant.

The learning cycle approach is completely modular, so you can choose between the full programme and individual modules, in accordance with your needs. The FSTC Blended Learning programme will cover a wide variety of topics in financial services, including all aspects of the investment fund industry, international financial markets, securities, derivatives, risk management and others.

For the Acquisition Phase of the FSTC Blended Learning programme, there are two approaches:

  • Prepared Courses - These are complete, self-contained E-learning courses that have been constructed on specific topics.
  • Virtual Classroom - “Live”, interactive seminars transmitted over the Internet (“Webinars”), which are scheduled and conducted at specific times with the possibility of watching recorded sessions afterwards.
